First day of winter and the weather cannot be more depressing.

Dear Louis Holland and Renée Seitchek, →
your characters are easily hateable and some of your actions are just right out outrageous, but every bit of you is believable even with the highly improbable plot Franzen has set you in. Thank you for the entertainment you have provided me in the past 2 weeks. Franzen, thank you for providing us an insight on how to look at the world from the eyes of a racoon and an obsolete computer...
Just came out from World Photo Press 09 exhibition. Riveting.
Battles did not dissapoint. Especially with the pitch perfect acoustics of the Opera Theatre, it was pretty surreal!
Off to see Battles at the Opera House!
Ironically, now I have that Regina Spektor’s song stuck in my head and I can’t slee..lee..lee..lee..eep.
Proof that I'm a (lame) geek
me: I like being a Gen Y kid
tm: I can't imagine how Gen Z kids are going to grow up. The next generation after that are born now, isn't that crazy?
me: What are they called?
tm: Huh, dunno. Gen A?
me: Hey, maybe they'll call it Gen AA, like in excel!

fmylife: Today, while playing The Sims 2, I realized I had a virtual person’s whole life planned out, and have nothing planned out for myself. FML Exactly how I felt when I routinely played the game 2 years ago.
My days here are numbered, and it’s not a pleasant feeling.
The end of the holiday passed by just like that, almost without warning except for the melodramatic songs from my ipod. Hello again, Sydney. I’m back.
Atherton Tablelands and Cape Tribulations were simply wonderful. So were Cairns’ Northern beaches. The city itself? Not so much.
Goodbye Townsville and Magnetic Island, hello Mission Beach and the Far North Queensland! Life in the tropics equals awesomeness.
How’s this for an irony: Our campervan is purple and has ‘I want to be a macho man’ emblazoned on the backside. Yes!
And so the holiday has begun beatifully. The boat, the food, the snorkeling, the beach - this is close to perfection. Bliss indeed.
Goodbye y'all, I'm going on a holiday for 9 days
Damn right I am! Flying early tomorrow morning to the Whitsundays and then drive up to North Queensland. Been insanely busy this week - this trip’s gonna kick ass! I guess that means no tumblr for one week for me. BUT I still have my mobile which means I can still twitter, fuck yeah!
Can this week be any longer? Oh dear Friday, when art thou?

Geeking out in the office. All these numbers kinda got me excited.
Okay so I'm having a MAJOR '90s nostalgic moment
I think I’m gonna spend the whole night and the whole day tomorrow listening to Björk, The Sundays, The Breeders, Morcheeba, Pulp, Massive Attack, Esthero, The Cure, Portishead, Cocteau Twins. Fuck yeah I’m excited!
Billy Corgan is a douchebag →
You know, back in the good old days of the ’90s, I grew up listening to Smashing Pumpkins thinking that Billy Corgan was god. Of course this was when James Iha and D’arcy Wretzky were still in the band - Pisces Iscariot, Siamese Dream, Mellon Collie all pretty much rocked my socks (they still are). And then the band broke up and Zwan didn’t work out and all Corgan’s...
